Layers Of Sound
North London based Mike Newstead, aka Layers of Sound, is an up-and-coming funky house producer and DJ starting to make a name for himself on the London scene for his original productions and a string of funky house DJ residencies.
From humble beginnings using a 4 track software sample player and a Casio keyboard, his set-up has gradually progressed, piece by piece, to a fully functioning loft studio.
Mike's track "Thinking of You" was DSR's very first release and featured an amazing remix by Simon Grey.
